Anticipated move-in date for the senior living project in Nordhausen for the first residents?

The Senior Living by the City Park project in Nordhausen, Germany, is nearing its completion, with all 27 apartments now fully rented out. The project, which is set to finish by December 2022, is not just about high-quality architecture and functional living solutions, but also about a well-thought-out interaction between nature, neighbourhood, and care.

At the heart of this project is a special Ginkgo tree, located in the atrium. This tree, a symbol of longevity, resilience, and joy of life, stretches from the ground floor to the third floor of the building. Its supply of daylight is provided by a generously designed light shaft, ensuring it thrives and becomes a lively meeting point for residents.

The surrounding indoor planting with perennials and seating areas emphasises the concept of a communal, nature-friendly living space. The landscaping and parking areas are currently the focus of final construction activities, including paving paths, placing benches, laying lawns, and completing the green inner courtyard.

Tenants will start moving into the project on September 1st, 2022. Christian Doering, CEO of Seniorenwerk, stated that the high demand for modern and barrier-free housing for older people in Nordhausen is evident from the project's full rent.

With the completion of House 3, another central component in the development of the "By the City Park" quarter will be completed. The Seniorenwerk in Nordhausen, where the Living for Seniors by the City Park project is conducted, is managed by the Südharz Klinikum Nordhausen gGmbH, which is responsible for related senior care facilities in the area.

As the project nears its completion, the community in Nordhausen looks forward to welcoming its new residents and enjoying the beauty and tranquillity that the Senior Living by the City Park project promises to bring.
