Apple Festival Returns to Wiesbaden's Schlossplatz on Oct 4-5
The Apple Festival returns to Wiesbaden's Schlossplatz on October 4th and 5th, 2024, offering a free, two-day celebration of the humble apple. The event, running from 10 am to 5 pm, features around 20 stands and activities, including an apple cake competition with a unique prize and traditional apple wine servings.
The 'Great Bake Off' apple cake competition is a highlight of the festival. The winner will receive an apple-themed gift certificate as a prize. Musical entertainment is provided by local favourites Eva's Apple and Captain Bembel & the Feingerippten, ensuring a lively atmosphere. Visitors can also purchase apple-themed accessories like doormats and Bembels, and even make their own apple juice using a traditional juice press.
On October 2nd, renowned pastry chef Anna Müller will attend the apple pie competition awards ceremony at the same venue to select the best apple pies.
