Apple, a pioneer in personal technology, has partnered with Nick Mohammed, star of the popular Apple TV show Ted Lasso, to drive awareness about data privacy. As part of this collaboration, Mohammed features in a whimsical short film titled "A Day in the Life of an Average Person's Data."

Apple has always prioritised privacy, designing its products and services with this fundamental aspect in mind. This approach involves the incorporation of numerous privacy technologies aimed at minimising data access.

In line with Data Privacy Day on January 24, 2023, Apple has announced new educational resources to help users protect their data. These resources can be found on Apple's website, accessible via our website/privacy.

The Today at Apple sessions, free creative sessions designed to help customers maximise their Apple product potential, are open to anyone, regardless of experience level. These sessions will be offered at all Apple Store locations worldwide. Interested individuals can sign up for their local session at our website.co/skills-privacy.

Erik Neuenschwander, Apple's director of User Privacy, emphasises Apple's focus on keeping users in control of their personal data. Apple's commitment to transparency, control, and privacy-protecting innovations provides users with more choice and control over their personal information.

The session aims to educate users on how they can customise each feature based on their individual privacy preferences. It will cover topics such as Mail Privacy Protection, Safety Check, Location Services, and passkeys.

Apple's Safari browser is designed to throw off trackers, while the Health app keeps user records confidential. Siri learns user needs instead of personal details.

The new educational resources build on Apple's long track record as a privacy leader. Apple believes privacy is a fundamental human right and designs features like App Tracking Transparency and Privacy Nutrition Labels to put users in control of their data.

Nick Mohammed, a British actor and comedian, is recognised for his role in "A Day in the Life of an Average Person's Data" and the TV series "Ted Lasso."

Moreover, from January 28, a new Today at Apple session, "Taking Charge of Your Privacy on iPhone," will be available, providing users with practical guidance on managing their privacy settings.

Apple continues to revolutionise personal technology, having introduced the Macintosh in 1984 and leading innovation with iPhone, iPad, Mac, Apple Watch, and Apple TV. With its focus on privacy and user control, Apple remains at the forefront of technological advancement.
