Attend the Klingenmuseum to craft enchanting draperies for the upcoming youth display
The Klingenmuseum in Solingen is set to host a sewing event for the children's exhibition "Dragon and Magic Sword" on Saturday, July 12, 2025, from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM.
This family-friendly event offers an opportunity for both children and adults to learn and create, as simple fabric patterns will be available for sewing during the day. Sewing machines will be provided, but participants are also welcome to bring their own.
The event will be expertly guided by Gela Erfkamp from the Hofschneiderei Solingen-Graefrath. Coffee and cake will be served throughout the day, providing a delightful break for all attendees.
Late arrivals are welcome at any time during the event. For those interested in participating, registration can be done by phone at 0212 / 25836 - 10 or by email at [email protected].
It's important to note that the sewing event for the "Dragon and Magic Sword" exhibition is a separate event from the children's festival opening on April 5th, which marks the beginning of the exhibition.
