In the heart of Malmö, Sweden, two homes owned by a local artist and a sushi restaurant owner have been transformed into a visual feast of playful design trends, showcasing the unique charm of Danish style.

The first home, belonging to a Swedish artist, is a vibrant Copenhagen-inspired haven filled with art and bright colours. The home, first featured in 2020, boasts 12 playful design trends, including the use of colour in a Danish style.

The living room, for instance, features a bold colour blocking with a yellow and pink chair from the sushi restaurant Nihombashi Berlin. The room is bathed in light, sculpted by Schneid studio, creating an airy and energetic space. The walls are adorned with a piece of failed art by Eike König, adding an unexpected touch of whimsy.

The home's art collection is not limited to the walls. A sculpture by Karl Manfred Rennertz stands proudly in one corner, while a Samsung The Frame TV graces the back wall. The floor is covered with art from the Vinta Series, adding a touch of sophistication to the playful design.

The kitchen, equipped with furniture and decor from IKEA, is a practical yet playful space. A sculpted vase from Motel a Miio adds a touch of modern artistry. The room is filled with gym rings, encouraging an active lifestyle.

The second home, a beautifully layered space with art and antiques, showcases a different side of Danish design. The home features a piece of art by Eike König and lips decor from Studio Job, adding a pop of colour and personality. The light in the home is sculpted by Schneid studio, casting interesting shadows and adding depth to the room.

Both homes are expected to brighten up one's day with their vibrant designs. The homes are a testament to the hallmark warmth, functionality, and cheerful experimentation typical of Danish home styling with bright colours.
