City Mayor Kicks Off the Multi-Cultural Festival
The Intercultural Week (IKW) 2025 is set to take place in Halle (Saale), Germany, from Saturday, 20th September 2025, to Sunday, 3rd October 2025. This week-long celebration is part of over 500 cities and communities across Germany participating in the event.
The festival and stage program for IKW 2025 in Halle (Saale) will run from 15 to 18.30 hours each day. The common motto for the event is "#FORTHIS".
The IKW 2025 aims to promote the diversity of society in Halle (Saale) and encourage intercultural dialogue. Notable participating cities and municipalities include the district of Euskirchen, the city of Sindelfingen, Ingolstadt, and the Donnersbergkreis district. These areas will organize events and actions under the motto "#dafür!" from late September to early October 2025.
Approximately 5,000 events are planned for the Intercultural Week 2025 nationwide. The IKW 2025 in Halle (Saale) will feature around 5,000 events as part of the nationwide celebration.
The opening event of the IKW 2025 will take place on the market square in Halle (Saale) on Saturday, 20th September 2025, at approximately 15.40 hours. Mayor Dr. Alexander Vogt will welcome the participants of the opening event. The Association of Migrant Organizations Halle (Saale) e.V., the city, and numerous organizations and individuals are inviting people to attend.
The IKW 2025 is being organized with the support of numerous organizations and individuals, as previously mentioned. It is intended to be a sign of a successful and solidarity-based coexistence.
