Construction permit issued in Omsk for house with unique condition

A residential building's construction is in the works, adjacent to a non-residential annex, on the street of Zavertyaeva.
Mayor of Omsk, Sergei Shlestant, announced on Tuesday, May 6, 2025, the approval of the building permit for this project. The non-residential annex will supposedly be leased out as retail or office spaces, which the author finds interesting.
"The structure will stand between 2 and 19 stories tall. The total living space within the residential units of the building will span 8,297.23 square meters, accommodating 168 apartments, including 101 studios and 67 two-bedroom apartments", highlighted the city leader.
It's worth noting that OOO "Specialized Builder 'Brik'" will construct five multi-story buildings on Zavertyaeva in Omsk.
Apart from businesses and offices, this new neighborhood will also welcome a children's club and library.
