Craftsmanship Autumn Event in Lünen Draws Thousands, Schools Compete for €1,500 in Prizes

The second annual Craftsmanship Autumn Event in Lünen drew a large crowd, thanks to the perfect weather, and offered a varied program focused on career orientation. The highlight of the afternoon was the team match, where school classes and sports clubs completed craft tasks, culminating in a raffle of prizes worth 500 euros sponsored by Sparkasse an der Lippe.

The event saw the participation of hundreds of visitors, who eagerly joined the raffle, particularly for the main prize - a city voucher worth 100 euros. The team match was won by Heinrich-Bußmann School, class 10b, with an impressive total time of 8:58 minutes. Their victory was rewarded with 1,000 euros sponsored by Volksbank Selm-Bork. Kaethe-Kollwitz Comprehensive School, team 'Golden Hand', secured second place with a time of 17:19 minutes, earning them 500 euros sponsored by IKK classic. Gymnasium Altlünen, class 9d, placed third with a time of 18:49 minutes, receiving 250 euros sponsored by the Dortmund Chamber of Crafts. The event also featured a bouncy castle for children's entertainment and introduced new exhibitors like the funeral services industry.

The Craftsmanship Autumn Event in Lünen proved to be a successful and engaging event, attracting many visitors and offering a diverse range of activities and learning opportunities. The team match and raffle added excitement, with schools receiving substantial prizes sponsored by local institutions.
