Determining the winners of the showcase competition in Düsseldorf Eller
In the charming town of Eller, the annual IndividuEller association's shop window decoration competition added a splash of colour and creativity to the summer landscape. This year's theme, "Summer in Eller", saw 14 businesses participate, each vying for the top spot.
The competition, which attracted a jury and the attention of passersby, aimed to bring a touch of summer magic to the town. Among the standout entries was the PropEller shop window, where children's hands and ideas played a significant role in its design, as evidenced by the photos displayed in the side window.
Ralf Hansen of Pflege und Beratung Heinzelmaennchen was thrilled to take home the second place award for his shop window. Dagmar von Dahlen presented the certificate to Pflegeteam Hansen, marking their achievement.
However, the competition wasn't just about the judges' decisions. The public also had a say, casting their votes for their favourite shop windows. In a close race, PropEller was chosen as the second place winner in the Public's Choice Award.
The first place in the Public's Choice Award went to Fairhaus Eller. Their shop window, with its evocative summer theme, clearly struck a chord with the town's residents. The third place in the Public's Choice Award was awarded to Marcellas Lederladen, whose window, featuring a skeleton and numerous handmade items, was a unique and intriguing entry.
The competition didn't end there, as three more winners will be drawn from the participants of the Public's Choice Award at the Gumbertstraßenfest on September 13/14. Each of these lucky winners will receive a shopping voucher.
The exact details of the other shop windows in the competition, such as the shop window of Pflegeteam Hansen, were not widely documented. Nonetheless, the competition served as a testament to the creativity and community spirit of Eller's businesses, making the town even more vibrant and inviting during the summer months.
Engaging in a blend of different categories, the PropEller shop and Fairhaus Eller demonstrated their creative flair in both the home-and-garden and lifestyle sectors, capturing the attention of the public in the IndividuEller association's shop window decoration competition. As the second place winner in both the Public's Choice Award and the original competition, PropEller was commended for its vibrant, child-inspired design.
