In the heart of Almaty, a new park is taking shape at the intersection of Zharkova and Si Sinhaia streets. The park, spanning an area of 4.1 hectares, is set to become a tranquil haven for residents and visitors alike.

The project, which is currently underway, has been emphasised by Almaty Akim Darhan Satybaldy, who has stressed the importance of meeting deadlines and maintaining quality. However, concerns have been raised about the allocation of resources for parks in different parts of the city.

Contrary to some speculations, the park being built is not a renovation of Southern Park, but a new one. The Southern Park that was recently renovated is distinct from the one being built in the Bostandyk district. There is no confirmed information suggesting that the new park is being built on the Southern Park land or that part of it was sold to the Turkish company Turykuaz for residential development.

The park's design includes pedestrian paths, children's playgrounds, lighting systems, and decorative architectural elements. More than 120 large trees - linden, chestnut, and pine - are planned to be planted, adding to the park's natural beauty.

While the budget for the park has not been specified, some have suggested that the project may face delays and budget increases. Time will tell as the project progresses towards its planned completion within three months, as per the city head's instruction.

The park's intended purpose is to provide a peaceful space for relaxation and leisurely walks. Local resident Meruert Makhmutova has observed the chaos surrounding the construction, but remains hopeful for the park's completion and the benefits it will bring to the community.

As the park takes shape, the city of Almaty continues to evolve, offering new spaces for its residents and visitors to enjoy. The new park in the Bostandyk district is a testament to the city's commitment to providing high-quality public spaces for all to enjoy.

The new park, a testament to Almaty's commitment to outdoor-living and home-and-garden, is set to offer a tranquil lifestyle haven with its planned pedestrian paths, children's playgrounds, and lush, decorative landscaping featuring over 120 large trees. Despite some speculations and potential budget concerns, the project remains on schedule for completion within three months, promising a peaceful space for relaxation and leisurely walks amidst nature's beauty in the heart of the city.
