Discovery Education Unveils New Career Exploration Resources
Discovery Education has revealed a range of new resources and initiatives to support career exploration and learning. The educational platform is offering virtual field trips, immersive games, and reports to engage students and teachers across the United States.
Among the new offerings is 'Haul! Learning Experience', a 3D exploration of a copper mine designed to educate students about the use of copper in daily life. Another virtual field trip, 'Careers at Sea and Shore', takes students on a tour of maritime manufacturing centers to learn about submarine construction.
Discovery Education has also launched 'Operation Communication', an immersive game focused on developing workplace communication skills. This addition joins other career-focused resources on the platform, such as the Careers Hub and Career Connect, which provide virtual field trips, skill-building activities, and classroom visits from industry professionals.
The platform has released the 'Education Insights 2025-2026: Fueling Learning Through Engagement' report, offering insights into educational trends. A webinar on October 8, 2025, will delve into the findings of this report. Additionally, 'Forging Innovation: A Mission Possible Virtual Field Trip' explores the role of steel in architecture and structural engineering.
Discovery Education has also introduced 'HARVEST: From Seed to Success', an immersive learning experience that allows students to step into the role of a farmer and learn about crop management.
