Ex-Guard Launches MAX Grille Guard for Extreme-Duty Trucks
Ex-Guard has launched its latest product, the Ex-Guard MAX, a grille guard designed for extreme-duty performance. This new addition to Ex-Guard's portfolio is now available through 2,500 dealers across the U.S. and Canada.
The Ex-Guard MAX is engineered for Class 6-8 trucks and is compatible with most over-the-road trucks from major OEMs. It features a front underrun mitigation system, independently tested to meet international safety benchmarks like UN ECE R93. This system helps prevent vehicles from sliding beneath the truck in certain collisions.
The MAX introduces reinforced guard technology and enhanced steer tire protection. The Steer Tire Defender 3.0 redirects impact forces away from critical components. It also includes a Vehicle Illumination Safety Reinforcement (VISR) bar to protect collision mitigation system radars, fog lamps, and steer tires. Independent tests have proven the Ex-Guard MAX to be the strongest and most protective grille guard Ex-Guard has ever built, potentially saving customers on maintenance and replacement part costs.
The Ex-Guard MAX is now available, providing extreme-duty front-end protection for Class 6-8 trucks. It reduces damage from collisions and yard incidents, giving fleet managers confidence in its protection. With its reinforced guard technology, enhanced steer tire protection, and independent testing, the Ex-Guard MAX is a robust addition to Ex-Guard's portfolio.
