L'Appartamento, a Milan Design Week showcase for Italian design and craftsmanship, is currently taking place at the iconic Palazzo Donizetti in Milan, Italy. The event, which runs until the 13th of April 2025, features a 19th-century apartment transformed into a vibrant and contemporary space, showcasing various Italian craftsmanship and design talents.

The apartment's bedroom showcases Fabscarte's hand-painted citrus-tree art named 'Nature Whisper'. The dining room features a two-piece travertine table named 'L'Armando', with a unique split in the middle, making it original and allowing for diverse pieces to work in harmony.

In the entertainment room, visitors are greeted by a creative and intimate atmosphere, designed to resemble a 19th-century salon. This space also features the 'Portici Travertine Marble Bookcase' by Sissy Daniele, displaying various artisanal pieces, and the captivating 'Cleopatra' artwork, made from over 4,000 tile pieces.

Notable designers involved in L'Appartamento include interior decorator and stylist Simone Haag, who designed the floral installation in the foyer and the entertainment room. Haag, who was the first Australian invited to exhibit at Artemest's L'Appartamento, is known for her timeless yet contemporary style.

Brigette Romanek, an interior designer based in LA, is another designer chosen to style L'Appartamento. The event also features the work of 1508 London, an interior design studio, who designed the entertainment room.

Outside L'Appartamento, a Porsche 911 Carrera 3.2 is decorated with vibrant pink blossoms, symbolising the lively spirit of Milan during Design Week. Another botanical installation adds vibrancy to a space within the apartment.

For those unable to attend, L'Appartamento by Artemest can be viewed online at artemest.com. The full Milan Design Week 2025 guide is available for reference. L'Appartamento's third edition successfully celebrates the dynamism and creativity that Italian craftsmanship can inspire.

The vibrant entertainment room, designed to mimic a 19th-century salon, incorporates various lifestyle elements, especially showcasing the 'Cleopatra' artwork by Sissy Daniele, a testament to Italian interior-design. The apartment's exterior, adorned with vibrant pink blossoms, embodies the home-and-garden aesthetics, symbolizing the lively spirit of Milan during Design Week.
