Germany's 'You Too?' Waste Awareness Campaign Kicks Off in Solingen
A unique awareness campaign, 'Germany separates. You too?', is set to kick off in Solingen on June 3rd. A giant coconut milk can will be displayed in front of the town hall, marking the start of a month-long initiative to educate residents about waste separation.
The campaign, organized by an unidentified local group, will begin with a quiz about correct waste separation at 2:00 PM on Walter-Scheel-Platz 1. The Technical Operations of Solingen's (TBS) waste advisory service will support the event and continue to educate residents at weekly markets throughout June.
The TBS will be present at the Ohligser weekly market on June 4th and 11th, and at the Solingen city center weekly market on June 6th and 13th. The aim is to inform residents about packaging waste separation and encourage participation in the nationwide action.
The 'Germany separates. You too?' campaign in Solingen is an opportunity for residents to learn and practice correct waste separation. With the support of the TBS, the initiative aims to raise awareness and promote sustainable waste management habits.
