The Dahme Red Cross is preparing for a special celebration this summer. On Tuesday, August 5th, from 2 PM to 6 PM, the local branch will be hosting a children and family festival at the beach house located at Strandpromenade 32.

This event, open to the public, will feature a variety of colorful activities for children, as well as a swap meet for all ages. In addition, a cozy cake buffet will be available for attendees to enjoy.

The Dahme Red Cross, which was established 75 years ago, has seen some changes in its leadership. Michaela Howitt has taken over as the new chairperson, with Helma Gonzales serving as deputy chairperson. Marion Haeger continues as the secretary, Stefanie Kuhlen remains the treasurer, and Susanne Rönneburg, Maren Bayer, Marlis Klaschus, Christiane Loose, and additional committee members are also part of the new board.

Unfortunately, the name of the new chairperson for the Dahmer branch of the Red Cross Society is not publicly available at this time.

This festival is a wonderful opportunity for the community to come together and support the important work of the Red Cross. So mark your calendars and join the Dahme Red Cross in celebrating 75 years of service and dedication.
