Introducing the Kia K4: A Compact Car Packed with Innovation

Get ready, Germany! The Kia K4 is set to make its debut in early 2026, bringing a fresh addition to the compact car market. This new model, manufactured by the Korean automaker Kia, is the successor to the popular Kia Ceed and will be available as a five-door model, with no station wagon variant for the European market.

The Kia K4 boasts a sleek design, with a flowing roofline seamlessly transitioning into the tailgate. The car measures 4.44 meters in length and 1.85 meters in width, making it a compact yet spacious choice for everyday driving.

Under the hood, the Kia K4 offers four engine variants. The base engine is a 1.0-liter turbo gasoline engine with 85 kW/115 PS. For those seeking more power, a mild hybrid variant of the same engine is available, paired with a seven-speed dual-clutch transmission as standard. The 1.6 T-GDI engine will also be available in two power levels: 110 kW/150 PS and 132 kW/180 PS, each coming with a seven-speed DCT as standard.

Inside the Kia K4, you'll find a panoramic display, two 12.3-inch screens for the instrument cluster and navigation, a 5.3-inch touchscreen for climate control, and the "Connected Car Navigation Cockpit" infotainment system. Smartphones can be integrated wirelessly via Android Auto and Apple CarPlay and charged via an inductive charging station.

The Kia K4 is packed with modern features, including the digital vehicle key "Digital Key 2.0", a Harman/Kardon sound system, and a wide range of driver assistance systems. The car also offers a spacious luggage compartment, holding between 328 and 1,217 liters, depending on the configuration.

One unique feature of the Kia K4 is the "Star Map" daytime running lights, inspired by the Kia flagship EV9. The rear door handles are integrated into the C-pillar, adding to the car's sleek design.

While Kia has not yet released pricing information for the Kia K4, it's sure to be a compelling option in the compact car market. With its innovative features, stylish design, and multiple engine options, the Kia K4 is poised to make a significant impact.

As for the Kia Stonic (2026), more details about this vehicle are yet to be revealed. Stay tuned for more updates!
