Kondratyev Attends Children's Protection Day Celebration in Krasnodar

Gather 'round, folks! There was one heck of a shindig in the Victory Park, celebrating its 30th anniversary no less! The whole shebang was attended by none other than Veniamin Kondratyev, the big cheese of Krasnodar Krai, and his daughter, Nadya. They joined forces with a pile of mouthwatering delegations from local municipalities, social institutions, and non-profit organizations that care about the kiddos.

Kondratyev, along with his deputy, Anna Minnikova, traipsed through various themed platforms, mingling with the young whippersnappers. The whole thing was a veritable smorgasbord of events:

  • Patriotic Nostalgia: Shout-outs to the 80th anniversary of the Great Patriotic War could be found on multiple platforms, such as the "Patriotic Workshop," a library and museum zone, not to mention a theater-concert stage. "Post No1," "Yunarmia," and "Movement of the Firsts" activists even hosted masterclasses to keep the kiddies in the loop. A mobile exhibition about the events of the Great Patriotic War on Kuban was on hand for all the guests.
  • Creative Corner: Media Meadow featured workshops with various mass media outlets from the Kuban region. Youngsters from the Media School even snagged an interview with Kondratyev himself! When asked about his favorite childhood pastime, Kondratyev admitted he loved playing with his friends. As for things he might do differently if he could turn back the clock to 10 years old, he likened kids to typical mischievous little devils, but stressed the importance of making good choices as they grow up.
  • Sea-Faring Fun: Konstantinov took the reins at the Maritime Affairs and Water Adventure sites, where the kiddos got their sea legs by knotting ropes and sailinginflatable vessels. At the Ready for Labor and Defense site, they had the chance to sprint through All-Russian fitness complex norms. A healthy dose of fitness sports was also on offer to get the whippersnappers in tip-top shape!
  • Sports Smackdown: The Sports Descent site showcased an obstacle course, where the youngsters overcame challenges with gusto. Participating schools even showcased their mighty sambo skills!

In all, there were over 40 themed areas to explore, including interactive games, dance flash mobs, courtyard game festivals, sports competitions, and even a mobile technopark. A tasty treat of free ice cream, water, and cotton candy was on offer, thanks to the press service of the Krasnodar Krai administration.
