Lee Unveils First Unisex Collection in Collaboration with Roaringwild

Kontoor Brands, parent company of iconic denim labels Lee and Wrangler, has unveiled an innovative unisex collection in collaboration with Chinese streetwear sensation Roaringwild. This marks a significant milestone for Lee, as it's the brand's first entirely unisex range, and Roaringwild's debut partnership with a denim giant.

The capsule collection, priced between $80 and $230, draws inspiration from the vibrant art and music scenes of the 1980s. It features graphic tees, denim jackets, and oversized jeans, catering to sizes XS to XL. This collaboration follows Lee's recent partnerships with brands like Daydreamer, Bearbricks, and Dragon Ball Z, further cementing its commitment to creative collaborations.

Founded in 2010 by a group of college friends, including Lee Chan-hyuk and Kim Jin-woo, Roaringwild has been making waves in the Chinese streetwear scene, aiming to rival global giants like Stussy, Palace, and Supreme. This partnership with Lee is a testament to the brand's growing influence and appeal.

Kontoor Brands, which separated from VF Corp. in 2019, continues to push boundaries with its denim brands. Lee's unisex collection with Roaringwild is a strategic move that aligns with the brand's recent $188 million in revenue, contributing to Kontoor's total $616 million in the second quarter. Meanwhile, Wrangler has also made its mark with limited edition lines, proving that Kontoor's denim powerhouses are not afraid to innovate and adapt.
