Get ready to add a personal touch to your Super Mario Party Jamboree game with a variety of customization options now available! This exciting new feature allows you to redeem your My Nintendo Platinum Points for exclusive characters, backgrounds, and frames.
The icon elements are refreshed every week, with four waves of releases scheduled: Wave 1 (7/23 - 7/30), Wave 2 (7/30 - 8/6), Wave 3 (8/6 - 8/13), and Wave 4 (8/13 - 8/20). To make sure you don't miss out on any updates, keep an eye on the Nintendo Switch Online app on your Nintendo SwitchTM system.
Each character icon will cost you 10 Platinum Points, while backgrounds and frames will set you back 5 Platinum Points each. Once claimed, these icons are yours to keep, even if your Nintendo Switch Online subscription ends. This exclusive offer is available only to Nintendo Switch Online members, and the icons are inspired by the Super Mario Party Jamboree game.
The first wave of Super Mario Party Jamboree icons started arriving on July 23, 2025, coinciding with the release of Super Mario Party Jamboree – Nintendo Switch 2 Edition and Jamboree TV Upgrade Pack on July 24, 2025. While the exact release dates for future waves beyond this initial July 23 release are not specified, Nintendo has previously released Switch Online icons in weekly rotating waves for other games, typically every Thursday.

Super Mario Party Jamboree itself was released for Nintendo Switch on October 17, 2024. The game features new online and offline modes, over 110 minigames, and mild fantasy violence. Users interact with each other in the game, and in Mario Party mode, players race around the board in pursuit of Stars.
In addition, a Nintendo Account and any Nintendo Switch Online membership (sold separately) are required for online features in Super Mario Party Jamboree.
