**ART SCAPE GALLERY Opens its Doors in Corrales**

Art Scape Gallery, a new art space with a focus on inclusivity and offering something for everyone, has officially opened its doors in Corrales. Located at 4436 Corrales Rd, the gallery is situated within Building 1 of Del Rio Plaza and serves as a venue for local events.

Co-owners and artists Lauren Deyo and Wendy FitzPatrick moved into the 600-square-foot, light-filled gallery on July 1. The duo met through their mutual connection to the Corrales community and share a passion for showcasing original artwork by local artists.

The gallery's current exhibition features glass art from a Placitas artist named Karen Shatar. Visitors can explore a diverse range of original artwork, including paintings, jewelry, and glasswork, as well as functional art like wine glasses and serving trays. Prices for art pieces range from $50 to $3,000, ensuring there's something for every budget.

In addition to art, the gallery offers a variety of home accents and gifts that appeal to both children and adults. This broad and welcoming selection reflects the gallery's commitment to catering to the community.

ART SCAPE Gallery is actively involved in community arts events. It participates in "First Sunday in the Village" events, providing opportunities for art enthusiasts and community members to gather and engage with the gallery and its artists. The gallery also hosts "First Sunday" events, offering a chance for visitors to meet guest artists in the gallery's beautiful front courtyard.

Upcoming events at the gallery could include artist talks and workshops. Deyo and FitzPatrick plan to feature new products every month, created by themselves, local artists, and the gallery.

ART SCAPE Gallery promotes accessibility to art and local culture through its diverse inventory and active participation in community arts events. Visitors are warmly invited to come and take a look. The gallery is open from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Thursdays through Sundays, and by appointment otherwise.

On Aug. 5, the gallery will host a ribbon-cutting event at noon. For more information, keep an eye on the Albuquerque Journal or subscribe to the Business Outlook Newsletter, which provides in-depth coverage of local trends, industry news, and key economic updates.
