Luxury Abode of a Designer in Los Angeles Valued at $26.5 Million boasts Olive Grove, Recreational Court, and Health Spa Facilities

In the heart of the exclusive Brentwood Park neighbourhood in Los Angeles, a renovated Mediterranean-style home designed by Cory DeFrancisco is now on the market for a whopping $26.5 million. DeFrancisco, the owner of Muskoka Living, purchased the 1980s-era home in May 2020 for $7.2 million and transformed it into a 7-bedroom luxury estate.

The residence, now listed with The Agency as of August 2025[1], is a blend of refinement and comfort, designed to serve as a family oasis. The home boasts custom furnishings, spa-like amenities, and a lush outdoor space laced with olive trees, a pool, and a sports court.

Upon entering the home, guests are greeted by a walkway of Italian black granite pavers leading to a welcoming porch and glassy front doors. Inside, the living room is anchored by a curving white oak and fluted limestone fireplace, with glass doors spilling outside. The home also features lovely wire-brushed and fluted paneling, rustic oak floors, nearly 13-foot ceilings, custom millwork, arched doorways, and tailor-made furnishings and decor.

The home's amenities include a formal dining space, a fireside family room, and a kitchen outfitted with pale oak cabinetry, a La Cornue range, an eat-in island topped with Calacatta Reclusa marble, and a dining area flanked by a wet bar. There is also an office, a gym, and an upstairs primary suite showcased by a luxe bath sporting a spacious wet room incorporating a soaking tub and shower. The home even includes a separate pool house for children and guests.

DeFrancisco described the home as a place where his sons would finish school and bring friends, with a big yard for outdoor activities. The home's airy, light, and calming aesthetic reflects this vision, creating a perfect space for family and friends to gather.

Notably, Magic Johnson was recently seen on a 312-foot charter superyacht[2], but it seems that the allure of DeFrancisco's transformed home has not gone unnoticed.
