Novorossiysk's Green Transformation: 1.5M Trees by 2025
Novorossiysk is set to undergo a significant transformation with a major greening initiative. Over 100 million rubles will be invested by 2025 to enhance the city's beauty and improve its microclimate. The 'Green Framework' project aims to plant 1.5 million trees and shrubs, including areas damaged by fires.
The 'Green Framework' project will kick off with an inventory of existing green spaces in Novorossiysk. Following this, suitable tree species will be selected for planting. Residents will have the opportunity to participate by planting plants on their household territory and at their workplace. The project is expected to span several years, transforming the cityscape and improving the health of its residents.
To guide this ambitious project, a working group has been established. It comprises local authorities, environmental experts, and industry representatives. The group will study the city of Freiburg for the development of an action plan and details, ensuring the project's success.
With a budget of over 100 million rubles and a goal to plant 1.5 million trees and shrubs, the 'Green Framework' project promises a greener, healthier Novorossiysk by 2025. The city's residents are encouraged to participate, making this a collective effort towards a more beautiful and sustainable future.
