Remove the grime, to safeguard nature's wellbeing

Join us for the annual Dirt-away Day event on Saturday, March 29th, as we come together to clean and refresh Kirchgasse, a community space that needs our attention after the winter months.

The event will take place at the Bauhof in Kirchgasse, with small groups fanning out across the area to tackle dirt, debris, and accumulated grime. To participate, you'll need some basic cleaning equipment such as brooms, brushes, shovels, dustpans, gloves, garbage bags or containers, and if possible, tongs or similar tools.

Volunteers are encouraged to meet at 10 AM on the day of the event. While no specific location for refreshments was mentioned, we're pleased to announce that the local municipality will provide refreshments to keep our energy levels high.

This event is aimed at nature enthusiasts who are eager to make a difference in their community. Whether you're a regular volunteer or joining us for the first time, we welcome everyone to take part in this worthwhile initiative.

So, mark your calendars for March 29th and let's work together to keep Kirchgasse tidy and pleasant for residents and visitors alike. We look forward to seeing you there!

Science enthusiasts can contribute to the environmental-science aspect of the event by utilizing eco-friendly cleaning products, while those with an interest in home-and-garden lifestyle can bring green solutions for landscaping and maintaining a pleasant atmosphere in Kirchgasse during the Dirt-away Day event. After the session, participants can unwind and discuss their experiences over refreshments provided by the local municipality.
