Soundstage Expansion: Garden Studios Unveils Four Additional Sets, Reclaiming Largest Film Production Campus Title in Central London

Get ready, productions! Garden Studios, smack dab in the heart of London town, has dropped some major news: a massive expansion that'll make this studio campus the beasty beast of central London film production. Here's the lowdown on their shiny new digs.

State-of-the-art Sound Stages Galore

Garden Studios has turned up the volume with four fresh sound stages, ballooning its total count to a whopping eight. These bad boys cover 98,000 square feet, giving productions a sprawling space to create their magic. But that ain't all—they've also built:

  • A jaw-dropping 90,000 square-foot warehouse bonanza for storage
  • A 40,000 square-foot production office mega-complex
  • Two colossal unit base lots, each well over 30,000 square feet

Versatility Galore—Accommodating Multiple Productions Simultaneously

Say goodbye to budding rivalries over studio space! These new sound stages are:

  • Rose (15,207 sq ft)
  • Orchid 1 (15,026 sq ft)
  • Orchid 2 (12,863 sq ft)
  • Orchid 3 (7,187 sq ft)

With a collection of diverse spaces, Garden Studios can now cater to multiple high-end TV productions and independent film magicians like never before. Plus, each stage is backed by the goods: comprehensive workshops, production offices, and ample parking.

Proximity to central London is another ace up their sleeve, placing them far above the competition that's stuck miles away from the action.

Host to Industry Movers, Shakers, and Mavericks

Kick-starting life in early 2021, Garden Studios has already hosted a variety of diverse projects, from major films like "Argylle" to full-house productions such as "My Lady Jane" and "Big Brother" relaunch.

The studio's been attracting big names in the industry, including the likes of Netflix, Amazon Studios, Apple Studios, BBC Studios, Canal+, Initial TV, and Working Title.

Bee Devine, Chief Operating Officer, had this to say: "Our rapid growth over the past six months is Living proof of our dedication to flexibility, top-notch client service, and sustainability. These expanded facilities let us cater to the increasing demands of a multitude of productions with unparalleled options for innovation, thanks to our permanent virtual production stage."

Rose Campus Rises in March 2025

In March 2025, the Rose Campus will burst onto the scene, featuring spectacular canal-side views from offices and talent rooms, along with two glitzy entertainment-focused galleries perfect for show productions.

Meanwhile, the Orchid stages are slated to host a major high-end TV drama production come late summer 2025, extending through 2026.

Permanent Virtual Production Wall Expands

When it comes to virtual production (VP), Garden Studios stands alone in London with its permanent LED wall dedicated to the tech. The wall has recently grown to a monstrous 20 meters wide and 5 meters tall, making it the ideal playground for a wide array of shoots—especially car sequences.

The studio has successfully tackled 120 virtual productions to date, from commercials and music videos to high-end TV and film projects.

Garden Studios—More Than Just a Studio

This studio ain't just all talk—they walk the walk when it comes to sustainability. Boasting B Corp certification and a 'Very Good' rating in the 2025 Albert Studio Sustainability Standard, they're leading the eco-friendly charge in film production.

The studio teams up with the Production Guild of Great Britain to host events focused on sustainability, like "Sustainability Behind the Lens."
