Designer Müge Kahraman has transformed the humble mirror into a captivating work of art with her Baggage Claim Mirrors series. Inspired by the hypnotic loop of airport baggage carousels, these mirrors offer more than just a reflection – they invite visual discovery.
The series includes three distinct designs: Baggage Claim-O, Baggage Claim-I, and Baggage Claim-M. Baggage Claim-O and Baggage Claim-I are full-length mirrors with round frames, suitable for bedrooms or entryways, while Baggage Claim-M is a tabletop makeup mirror designed for vanity or desk space.
Each mirror features a colored MDF frame and overlapping slices of colored mirror glass. The visual effect of these overlapping colored slices creates a fractured yet harmonious view that invites users to see themselves from new angles.
