Garden Club Schiltberg Announces Trip to Bamberg
The Garden Club Schiltberg is excited to announce a trip to the picturesque city of Bamberg, scheduled from October 10th to 12th. This tour is open to both members and non-members of the club.
Itinerary
The journey will begin with an early morning departure from Schiltberg. Upon arrival in Bamberg, participants will embark on a guided tour of the Old Town, taking in the Cathedral, Old Court, and the charming Little Venice district. After a traditional Franconian lunch, the group will visit the Bamberg Rose Garden and other local botanical sites. The afternoon will be free for shopping or exploring museums. The trip will conclude with a return to Schiltberg in the evening.
Costs
The estimated cost per participant is €60, which includes transportation (approx. €25 per person for round trip by coach bus), guided tours and entrance fees (approx. €15 per person), and lunch (around €20 per person for a set menu).
Registration
Registrations for the trip are possible until August 17th. To secure your spot, please sign up by this date and make payment by September 20th. For exact details and to register, members can contact the Garden Club secretary or visit the club’s notice board.
