The **Aubing District Week (Stadtteilwoche Aubing - Lochhausen - Langwied)** is set to return to Munich from **Thursday, July 17, to Wednesday, July 23, 2025**. This vibrant event promises a week filled with entertainment, education, and community spirit.

The heart of the festivities will be the **Belandwiese**, where a catering tent with a beer garden will be set up, offering guests a chance to unwind and enjoy local cuisine. Adjoining this, a music stage will provide live entertainment throughout the week.

The event kicks off with a performance by singer-songwriter and cabaret artist Roland Hefter on July 17. The main stage at the Belandwiese will host a variety of cabaret and music stars, including Die Couplet AG, Claudia Pichler, and the Hippie Chamber Orchestra.

The **Culture Fair** on Saturday and Sunday, July 19 and 20, offers an overview of associations and initiatives in the district. Interactive and play activities like making herbal salt or a fire truck display will be available, making it a fun-filled experience for all ages.

The Ubo 9 cultural center will offer daily programs (except Tuesday) featuring concerts, readings, and workshops. On Monday, opera arias can be heard in the garden of the Old School.

The Aubing district week is not just about entertainment. Visitors can explore the history of the Lochhausen brickworks on Sunday, take a tour of the U5 construction site in Freiham on July 17 at 2 PM, or learn about the Munich wastewater treatment plant on Tuesday.

Institutions and construction projects from Freiham will present themselves at the Open Day on Saturday. The old smithy in Langwied can also be visited on that day.

Over 110 institutions and associations are participating in the event, ensuring a diverse and engaging program. With approximately 150 events scheduled for the week, there is something for everyone to enjoy.
