Virtual gathering for discussing Bamberg's construction venture - public engagement invited

The city of Bamberg has announced a digital discussion for the Urban Design Advisory Board (SGB) on the extension and renovation of a residential and commercial building located at Grüner Markt 18 in the city centre. The discussion will take place on September 25, 2025, at 2 pm.

Interested citizens can find the discussion agenda on the city's website of the College Boardwww.stadt.bamberg.de/stadtgestaltungsbeirat. To participate, citizens must register via email at [email protected]. The email registration deadline for the discussion has not been specified, but interested citizens can still register.

The city is facilitating the digital participation procedure, and the discussion will be held as a BigBlueButton conference. After registration, participants will receive a link to join the conference. The MS Edge browser is recommended for joining, but the conference link will be provided after registration.

Following the discussion, the planning documents and consultation protocols of the Urban Design Advisory Board will be published on the city's website for public viewing. The construction project discussion will also be published online for public viewing.
